Happy New Year!

The year 2006 has been a prosperous year for us at Staged Interior, and we are so thankful for our partners and associates who have helped and encouraged us throughout.

We are focused on educating Real Estate professionals and homeowners concerning the benefits of staging and look forward to an even greater year in 2007. As a part of this effort we have joined and are an affiliate member of Dulles Area Association of Realtors.

We are a team and we can do our job more effectively with your input. We are dedicated to reciprocating with new tools and programs to enhance your listing presentations and your efforts to educate your sellers as to how they can benefit by using Staged Interior to help their sales be more profitable and timely.

As we have been blessed, so we have tried to give back to the community and to individuals during this season of giving. Please look at two of the projects we took on at Staged Interior to invest in the future.

Santa's Sleigh Foundation Logo
Santa's Sleigh Foundation, Inc., which was founded by Marianne Beck, is dedicated to making Christmas a more joyful time for the underprivileged children in our local area. We were especially drawn to this organization because of its local focus and because everything collected, in the way of toys and gifts, goes to the children.

During this Christmas season we and other sponsors, in conjunction with Lighthouse Realty in Leesburg, who organized the whole event, gathered at Shenanigan’s in Leesburg to benefit Santa’s Sleigh by bringing toys and door prizes to help Marianne and her whole family provide for the needy children in the schools around the area.

Staged Interior was very blessed to present an original floral arrangement valued at $500 to be given away during the drawings throughout the evening. We enjoyed great food and were able to meet many other real estate professionals who are like-minded in being focused on the betterment of our community. We and these other generous sponsors invested in the function through our monetary gifts to provide food and entertainment for the guests whose attendance fee was an unwrapped toy for the children.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Marianne Beck of Santa’s Sleigh and Linda Beck and Tarek Maaraba of Lighthouse Realty for organizing this worthwhile benefit and for allowing us to participate. It made our Christmas Season much richer and allowed us to learn about a local organization that continues to pour its resources into our future, our children.

The most fulfilling project this season was a staging event in Annapolis, MD. Our local church, Westgate Chapel in Chantilly, has been partnering with a church in Annapolis to support a missionary family serving in Malaysia.

When the time came for them to cycle back to the states they found themselves unable to bring their larger pieces of furniture with them. They were only able to ship a few personal items back to Maryland after years of overseas living. Between our two congregations we were able to accumulate enough furniture and appliances to completely furnish a four- bedroom home. This family of six had been living without a dishwasher, dryer or even hot water for years. They were very excited about experiencing a few modern conveniences for a change.

After all the furniture had been delivered and the personal items had arrived, we went up and spent 10 hours staging this home for living. What a joy it was to see the donated items come together and coalesce with the artwork and other decorative items to create a warm home where they will be able to live comfortably. Please look at the before and after pictures to see the results, keeping in mind that we brought absolutely nothing in our own inventory to enhance the property.

Many thanks to Leigh Anne, Cathy, Molly, Terry and many others who, not only helped that day, but also worked tirelessly, over the last few months, to pull the whole project together. It was a privilege to work with you and see the fruit of all our labor so tangibly displayed.

Last month we introduced a unique gift certificate program as a part of Holiday special in addition to the tuition credit for ASP and ASP Realtor courses. With the success of the program, this gift certificate program is now a permanent part of our service so that you and your clients can enjoy a 20% discount on initial consultation fees.

With this program you can demonstrate to your clients that you are at the forefront of marketing trends by giving a gift of staging. You or your client can use this gift certificate for an initial consultation for any of the following services:
