Greetings!

Family picture at Epcot CenterTaking advantage of the "slower" real estate season, I took a vacation to Disney World in Orlando with my family and friends. It was such a joy to see my grandkids, Jake 6 and Tasha 3 and half, get so excited about seeing and playing with Mickey and Minnie among other magical things. I was so impressed with the first class entertainment and services provided by Disney. I thought Disney "staged" its theme parks so perfectly for our experience; every corner we turned and every ride we rode, the kids and the children-at-heart just oo-ed and ahh-ed with excitement.

As we prepare for the upcoming real estate market in the new year, we will continue to strive to provide first class staging services, for which we are known, so that every corner potential buyers turn in your staged property, they will also oo and ahh, not just for excitement's sake, but because they can actually see themselves living in their new house and making your property their home.

I will try to refrain from staging your house in a Mickey Mouse theme! I wish you all an incredibly blessed Christmas season!

Trish

By the way, with the sheer number of consultations and proposals we have recently submitted, the beginning of the new year will be a really full season for staging houses for sale. Please call now to have your property staged in the new year so that we can feature your miracle stories.

One of the highlights of 2007 was my trip to Palm Springs, CA to continue my staging education by taking another Master's course with the founder of StagedHomes.com, Barb Schwarz. I was excited about going and spending time soaking in all the knowledge and enthusiasm for which Barb is so famous, but I had no idea how blessed I would be in participating in this week-long experience. I learned a lot from Barb and also from the other participants who are creatively building their own staging businesses around the world.

I would like to encourage all those in this newsletter audience to take advantage of the educational system provided by StagedHomes.com either locally as in the up-coming January class, or in any location that offers interaction with Barb for a Master's course. As part of the Real Estate industry, we need to keep current with the newest and most innovative practices in the staging world and there's no better place to pursue that than through StagedHomes.com. It will be worth your investment!

NovusOne is a local custom home builder that has been providing homes with solid quality and architectural esthetics specializing in Falls Church and North Arlington area. Such is the home that is located on Ellison Street in Falls Church right off of Broad Street and close to I-66 and Tyson's Corner.

We were in Hawaii for a family reunion when we received a call from Weichert Realtor, Louise Molton, to stage her two-and-a-half-month-old listing - a spec home built by NovusOne. From 6,000 miles away, we assembled a staging team; a staging plan was developed by our team leader, Deb. Lights, Camera and a long day of staging Action, enhanced Ellison's already spectacular architectural features and this house was dressed beautifully, ready for any potential buyers. As Paul Harvey would say, you know the rest of the story! This upper bracket home is now wedded to a new homeowner after a mere 2 months of staging courtship. One of the matchmakers, Louise, says:

"I had the opportunity to list a fantastic new contemporary home in Falls Church City that was both unique and exciting architecturally. Given the current market conditions, we realized that we needed to make the home stand out from all the rest. Staged Interior was recommended to me and I called Trish Kim to discuss the challenges that would be faced with staging this home. Although she was overseas at the time, she was able to coordinate her staff quickly and efficiently and within days the team was at the home with all the necessary staging equipment.

The result was spectacular and everyone who went through the home, not only commented on the Architecture but also on the thoughtful, effective staging. We received a contract and Trish juggled her schedule to make the "de-staging" go smoothly. I wouldn't use anyone else for staging a home to sell. Staged Interior is the best!"
We are thankful for the opportunity to work as team with NovusOne and Louise. Oh, by the way, in addition to being a successful Realtor, Louise has this precious business called SongCatchers, teaching children to experience music in a truly unique and memorable way. Check out the lessons for young musicians at www.SongCatchers.net.
